This is no ordinary geocaching trading item!

Nordic Viking is a Travel Bug Dog Tag Travel Bug, traveling from geocache to geocache on a very specific mission.

If you do not intend to log your visit on the Geocaching.com web site, please DO NOT TAKE THIS ITEM. Its travels and its progress requires you to log that it is being taken from this geocache. You will also need to log when you place it in another geocache. It's easy!

If you are willing to log your part of this Trackable's journey and place it in another geocache as soon as possible (after you log your find), grab it from this geocache.

My Current Goal:

Come home to Haugesund, Norway. (Edited August 3rd 2018).

Please help our Viking ship

Old goal:
Our Viking ship's recent goal is to visit historic wiking sites in the world (any sites that has some connections to wikings). It would love to pick up wiking stories along the way. Please enter some information about the history behind the historic site. TB Nordic Viking started it's jouney in a cache right next to the Viking Farm at Avaldsnes, Norway. The Norwegian king Harald Haarfagre (Fairhair) lived here after the battle of Hafrsfjord (872). Visit this link to learn more: http://www.karmoyped.no/avaldpros/vikinggard.htm
