Gruyere 2 Gruyere Travel Slug Geocoin is a The Travel Slug Geocoin Travel Bug, traveling from geocache to geocache on a very specific mission.

If you do not intend to log your visit on the Geocaching.com web site, please DO NOT TAKE THIS ITEM. Its travels and its progress requires you to log that it is being taken from this geocache. You will also need to log when you place it in another geocache. It's easy!

My Current Goal:

This Slug has a simple mission. To travel from Gruyere in Switzerland to Gruyere in Australia. I have family ties to Gruyere in Australia and in 1986/7 I made a student exchange to the Gruyere Region of Switzerland. I now have to opportunity to visit Switzerland again and thought it would be fun to have a coin follow me home. It would be preferable if the coin didn't do the trip from Europe to Australia in one hop - I'm happy to have it bounce around for a bit. Eventually I would like it to stop over in Gruyere Australia at "Log Cabin" (GC1MYP8) and then procede to South Australia - "Badges, Badges, Badges" (GC1PRB5)
