This is no ordinary geocaching trading item!

Cozumel Carlos is a Travel Bug Dog Tag Travel Bug, traveling from geocache to geocache on a very specific mission.

If you do not intend to log your visit on the Geocaching.com web site, please DO NOT TAKE THIS ITEM. Its travels and its progress requires you to log that it is being taken from this geocache. You will also need to log when you place it in another geocache. It's easy!

If you are willing to log your part of this Trackable's journey and place it in another geocache as soon as possible (after you log your find), grab it from this geocache.

My Current Goal:

We're starting this travel bug now to commemorate the resiliant people of Cozumel, who are in the process of recovery from Hurricanes Emily in July and Wilma in October. We spent a week on Cozumel scuba diving in April and were IN Cozumel in October during Wilma and fell in love with the island and the people. We hope that Cozumel Carlos will bring them luck in their recovery! This turtle must stay wet! He loves to be in water of any kind. Take pictures of him in all types of water (he specifically asked not to be put in toilets, though...). It would also be great if Cozumel Carlos could eventually visit his home waters of Cozumel!
