Anubis - Gott der Todesriten und der Toten III is a Anubi Geocoin Travel Bug, traveling from geocache to geocache on a very specific mission.

Dieser Coin ist Anubis geweiht und soll daher durch verschiedene Totenmetropolen und Nekropole reisen, sich auf Friedhöfen oder in der Nähe solcher aufhalten oder alte Bergräbnisstätten der Völker der Welt besuchen.
Das Ende seiner Reise soll er im Land seiner Herkunft, in Ägypten, haben, dort besucht er Alexandria, Kairo, Abu Simbel, Luxor, Karnak, bis er seinen Weg zu der Sphinx und den Pyramiden findet. Hier soll er eine Rundreise durch Totentempel machen, um dann gestärkt mit der Energie und Magie seiner reise den Rückweg in seinen Heimatcache, in dem er ausgelegt war, zu machen.
An jeder Station, die er neu besucht oder wo er nur kurz halt macht, wäre ein Foto wirklich sehr schön, sodass die Reise hier in der virtuellen Welt verfolgt werden kann.
