This is no ordinary geocaching trading item!

Felix is a Travel Bug Dog Tag Travel Bug, traveling from geocache to geocache on a very specific mission.

If you do not intend to log your visit on the Geocaching.com web site, please DO NOT TAKE THIS ITEM. Its travels and its progress requires you to log that it is being taken from this geocache. You will also need to log when you place it in another geocache. It's easy!

If you are willing to log your part of this Trackable's journey and place it in another geocache as soon as possible (after you log your find), grab it from this geocache.

My Current Goal:

Hallo liebe Geocacher,

dies ist ein TB zu Ehren meines Sohnes Felix, der dieses Jahr geboren wurde.

Ziel dieses TB ist es binnen der nächsten 18 Jahre einmal, oder öfter, um die Welt zu reisen. Jeder Kontinent sollte einmal bereist und so viele Hauptstädte wie möglich besichtigt werden. Anfang 2032 soll der TB Wuppertal (NRW/Deutschland/Europa) erreichen, um als Geburtstagsgeschenk zum 18. Geburtstag meines Sohnes zurückzukehren.

Ein sehr „ehrgeiziges“ Projekt aber ich bin zuversichtlich, dass die Geocachergemeinde eine, vielleicht nicht ganz neue, aber doch sehr schöne Idee zu würdigen weiß.

Ich bedanke mich schon einmal im Voraus, und hoffe in den nächsten Jahren vieles von Euch als „Trägern“ des TB zu hören!

 

Dear Geocaching Community ,

this is a TB to honor my son Felix, who has been born in 2014.

The goal of  this TB, is to travel around the world as much as possible within the following 18 years. I would greatly appreciate if the TB could reach as many capitals as possible on every continent. In the beginning of 2032 it should return to Wuppertal (North Rhine-Westphalia/Germany/Europe) just in time to be presented as a birthday gift for my son´s 18th birthday.

A very "ambitious" project indeed but I am confident that the community appreciates and supports a, perhaps not entirely new, but very nice idea!
