This is no ordinary geocaching trading item!

"Bob": Traveling Dad is a Travel Bug Dog Tag Travel Bug, traveling from geocache to geocache on a very specific mission.

If you do not intend to log your visit on the Geocaching.com web site, please DO NOT TAKE THIS ITEM. Its travels and its progress requires you to log that it is being taken from this geocache. You will also need to log when you place it in another geocache. It's easy!

If you are willing to log your part of this Trackable's journey and place it in another geocache as soon as possible (after you log your find), grab it from this geocache.

My Current Goal:

In the summer of 2017, I drove my 82 year-old-dad 800 miles to see mountains in Wyoming, because he had never seen a mountain before.  He was amazed and enthralled just to stand and look at the snowy peaks of the Bighorn Mountains west of Buffalo, Wyoming. I hope to do more traveling with Dad, to see many more mountains.  We may not get to them all.  But maybe this travel bug can!  The mission for this trackable is to visit MOUNTAINS!  Mainly in the United States, but beyond that, too.  I am asking that you post photos of the mountains you are seeing when you drop this bug off.  Let me know where you are, the name of the peaks, and their elevations (if you know).  I will share these with my dad when I visit him!
