This is no ordinary geocaching trading item!

Sad Sack II is a Travel Bug Dog Tag Travel Bug, traveling from geocache to geocache on a very specific mission.

If you do not intend to log your visit on the Geocaching.com web site, please DO NOT TAKE THIS ITEM. Its travels and its progress requires you to log that it is being taken from this geocache. You will also need to log when you place it in another geocache. It's easy!

If you are willing to log your part of this Trackable's journey and place it in another geocache as soon as possible (after you log your find), grab it from this geocache.

My Current Goal:

Sad Sack II is a replacement trackable for the original Sad Sack trackable which went missing in Northern Italy when the cache it was in disappeared :(  The original Sad Sack logs (until it went missing) can be read in the trackable TBJRRH logs. 

It is Sad Sack’s desire is to re-live her illustrious career by visiting as many of her WW II locations/ airfields as possible; from her birthplace at the Lockheed Factory in Burbank, CA. to her final landing at Foggia #11, Vincenzo, Italy. As a tribute to her many devoted mechanics and pilots, she also desires that she visit all locations [ actual hotels if possible] where 82ndFG Association has held their annual reunions.
