This is no ordinary geocaching trading item!
Relay For Life is a Relay For Life Tag Travel Bug, traveling from geocache to geocache on a very specific mission.
If you do not intend to log your visit on the Geocaching.com web site, please DO NOT TAKE THIS ITEM. Its travels and its progress requires you to log that it is being taken from this geocache. You will also need to log when you place it in another geocache. It's easy!
If you are willing to log your part of this Trackable's journey and place it in another geocache as soon as possible (after you log your find), grab it from this geocache.
My Current Goal:
We've purchased this Relay For Life trackable tag for my dad, and my kids PaPa, John. Dad passed away nearly one year ago of cancer. He'd just turned 67 and hadn't retired yet. We only discovered Geocaching this year and love it. Dad would have thought it was a great thing and would have loved hearing about our finds. He was a super handyman, could make anything and would have loved to invent and make some brilliant caches. Because Dad didn't get to retire and travel we want to send this tag and its John Deere to anywhere and everywhere with him in mind. We've attached a tractor to the tag in the hope that it is less likely to get lost, but also because Dad loved tractors and was an avid collector of all things tractor, big and small. He had lovingly restored three Fergies. In a couple of years or whenever passing through, a stop over back home in Tamworth, NSW, would be great. Farewell little tag, "See you 'round the traps".
