This is no ordinary geocaching trading item!

An Apple for the Teacher is a Travel Bug Dog Tag Travel Bug, traveling from geocache to geocache on a very specific mission.

If you do not intend to log your visit on the Geocaching.com web site, please DO NOT TAKE THIS ITEM. Its travels and its progress requires you to log that it is being taken from this geocache. You will also need to log when you place it in another geocache. It's easy!

My Current Goal:

This travel bug is dedicated to our Grandpa Lee for Father's Day 2010. The name is given as a representation of his 37 years as an educator for the Department of Defense Dependent School System overseas, as well as in the US. We would like this bug to visit each of the locations he taught in: Minnesota, Germany, Japan, and England; and find its way to retirement in Kalispell, MT. We will start the apple on its journey in our second annual Dad's Day cache, in celebration of Dad's and geocachers everywhere! Happy Father's Day to all. Have you hugged a teacher today?
