This is no ordinary geocaching trading item!

24th World Scout Jamboree - Scouts South Africa Contingent is a Travel Bug Dog Tag Travel Bug, traveling from geocache to geocache on a very specific mission.

Trackable ItemIf you do not intend to log your visit on the Geocaching.com web site, please DO NOT TAKE THIS ITEM. Its travels and its progress requires you to log that it is being taken from this geocache. You will also need to log when you place it in another geocache. It's easy!

If you are willing to log your part of this Trackable's journey and place it in another geocache as soon as possible (after you log your find), grab it from this geocache.

My Current Goal:

This TB travelled with me to the 24th World Scout Jamboree, as well as during the pre and post-tour in DC and NYC. I was part of the CMT and in charge of travel logistics for the South African Scouts South Africa contingent of 143 people (112 youth and 31 adults).

It used to belong to my late father, Technonut, who was a well known South African geocacher. He loved this game, and I am happy to be sending this TB on a journey in his memory, to many places before I hope it eventually comes back home to me.

Please take photos of it with other Scouts, their troops, units and at scouting events etc. Any Scout themed log would be hugely appreciated.
