This is no ordinary geocaching trading item!

Sam539's Yorkshire 2018 UK Mega Duck is a 10th Anniversary UK Mega – Yorkshire 2018 Trackable Travel Bug, traveling from geocache to geocache on a very specific mission.

If you do not intend to log your visit on the Geocaching.com web site, please DO NOT TAKE THIS ITEM. Its travels and its progress requires you to log that it is being taken from this geocache. You will also need to log when you place it in another geocache. It's easy!

If you are willing to log your part of this Trackable's journey and place it in another geocache as soon as possible (after you log your find), grab it from this geocache.

My Current Goal:

I've had this litte rubber duck for a number of years now, but it is now time for him to fly the nest so he can help to spread the good news about the 10th Anniversary UK mega, which will be taking place in out home county of Yorkshire in 2018.

Yorkshire folk do love a bit of cricket, and being bowled out without scoring a single run is known as being "out for a duck". Therefore, scoring your first run can be though of as "breaking your duck". I don't wan't this little duck to come to any harm, by someone trying to break him, but instead, why not tell me the story of some of your caching firsts if you come across this duck?

Perhaps your first find, your first trackable discovery, your first hide, your first event, your first mega, your first 5/5, your first cache in another country?

If you haven't yet been to a mega, why not join us in Yorkshire, UK in 2018 and break your duck?

The trip this TB is going to be released as part of will see us attending our first giga event, as well as our first time visiting a number of countries in Europe. We should have many more stories to tell once we make our way back home.
