This is no ordinary geocaching trading item!

509th Parachute Infantry Patch is a Travel Bug Dog Tag Travel Bug, traveling from geocache to geocache on a very specific mission.

If you do not intend to log your visit on the Geocaching.com web site, please DO NOT TAKE THIS ITEM. Its travels and its progress requires you to log that it is being taken from this geocache. You will also need to log when you place it in another geocache. It's easy!

If you are willing to log your part of this Trackable's journey and place it in another geocache as soon as possible (after you log your find), grab it from this geocache.

My Current Goal:

My mission is to travel the world and log many jumps.  I love to jump out of helicopters and airplanes.  To learn more about the 509th Parachute Infantry you can go here.  (visit link) My owner's husband was in the 509th while serving in the US Army.  While this patch was not lucky enough to make any jumps, it is his wish to log a few jumps around the world.  Please help him on his journey to log some jumps. If you are able to make a jump with me, please take pictures and let my owner's husband know the who, what, when, where, and how of jumping.
