This is no ordinary geocaching trading item!

Catching Fire! Kindness Caching Across Canada is a Blaze the Campfire Travel Tag Travel Bug, traveling from geocache to geocache on a very specific mission.

If you do not intend to log your visit on the Geocaching.com web site, please DO NOT TAKE THIS ITEM. Its travels and its progress requires you to log that it is being taken from this geocache. You will also need to log when you place it in another geocache. It's easy!

If you are willing to log your part of this Trackable's journey and place it in another geocache as soon as possible (after you log your find), grab it from this geocache.

My Current Goal:

Congratulations! You have found the Kindness Flame!

This is no ordinary trackable. I may be small but I am causing great things to happen!

Your job, should you choose to accept it, is to do one random act of kindness. Of course, don't forget to leave me in a cache to keep the kindness fire spreading!

Below are lots of ideas! Some caching related, many not. Please list what random act you have done in the comments. Just think of the impact one trackable could make!

You never know...your action could make someone's day!

Pay for the person behind you in line.

Leave an uplifting note on a public bathroom mirror.

Place an unactivated trackable in a cache (maybe even start another kindness trackable!)

Give an unusually large tip!

Collect all the hotel samples in your home and take them to the homeless shelter.

Put quarters into a vending machine for the next person.

Send a card to a soldier.

Hold the door!

Send an email to a co-worker expressing your appreciation for them.

FILL a cache with swag!

Buy some peanut butter crackers, small bags of peanuts or toiletry items to give to homess people you see.

Clean out your closet and donate to your local thrift store.

Have a few dollars left on a gift card at the end of your purchase - give it to the next person in line.

Save silica packets (those little pouches that come in shoes and other products to absorb moisture) - place them in caches to keep the moisture out!

Collect Box Tops for Education and send them to a local school (Campbells soup labels, or Coke Rewards points, too.)

Start a Free Little Library.

Have a lemonade stand with all proceeds going to a local non-profit organization.

Organize a canned food drive at work.

CITO (Cache In, Trash Out) aka Pick up litter while caching.

Offer to help an elderly person at the grocery store with loading their groceries.

Bake or buy treats to take to a local fire department or police station.

Shovel a neighbors driveway.

Leave a pen or pencil in the cache just in case someone forgot.

Leave a copy of a book you love on a gas pump, in bus, or train with a note to the next reader.

Color pictures and take them to a local nursing home.

Give an extra umbrella to someone you see walking in the rain or leave it in a vestibule with a note.

Become an organ and/or bone marrow donor.

Hang a sign on a bulletin board that says "Take What You Need" — with tear-off tabs at the bottom for Love, Hope, Faith, and Courage.

Leave a bouquet at the hospital or nursing home — the nurses will know who needs it the most.

Online shopping addict? Shop their wishlist and have a shipment sent to a local non-profit!

Become a birthday buddy with a child in foster care.

Walk the dogs at a local shelter.
