This is no ordinary geocaching trading item!

1,000 Finds Geocoin is a Geo-Achievement Finds 1,000 Geocoin Travel Bug, traveling from geocache to geocache on a very specific mission.

If you do not intend to log your visit on the Geocaching.com web site, please DO NOT TAKE THIS ITEM. Its travels and its progress requires you to log that it is being taken from this geocache. You will also need to log when you place it in another geocache. It's easy!

If you are willing to log your part of this Trackable's journey and place it in another geocache as soon as possible (after you log your find), grab it from this geocache.

Mission Update 8/21/14

To be transferred by hand from one cacher to another to celebrate 1,000 finds.  Since I recently celebrated my 2,000th find I decided it was time to set this geocoin free into the caching world.  Started it out on its way with0 good caching friends Robnsamcabot who recently reached their 1,000th find.  The new mission is to carry this coin on your travels until you have the good fortune to meet someone who recently reached their first real milestone of 1,000 finds.  You can get bonus points if you give it to someone exactly on their 1,000th find.  Please transfer this coin directly from one cacher to another and do not leave inside a cache.  If needed you can "dip" the coin into a cache to make the transfer easier, but please don't leave it in a cache.  Also, please don't pass is on to other cachers with several thousand finds.  Again, the idea is to celebrate the 1,000th  find.  Events will be the most likely place to move this coin on to someone new but anything is possible.  Good luck and good caching.
