This is no ordinary geocaching trading item!

MacDougall the Moose is a Travel Bug Dog Tag Travel Bug, traveling from geocache to geocache on a very specific mission.

Trackable Item If you do not intend to log your visit on the Geocaching.com web site, please DO NOT TAKE THIS ITEM. Its travels and its progress requires you to log that it is being taken from this geocache. You will also need to log when you place it in another geocache. It's easy!

MacDougall the Moose is being set free in the land of the Scots by his relatives from Americay, Pat and Stacey McDougall. MacDougall's goal is to visit each and every "council area" in Scotland. He's moving along fairly well, with nearly 40% of the councils visited as of early May 2006.
