This is no ordinary geocaching trading item!

Bald Eagle is a Travel Eagle Travel Bug, traveling from geocache to geocache on a very specific mission.

Trackable ItemIf you do not intend to log your visit on the Geocaching.com web site, please DO NOT TAKE THIS ITEM. Its travels and its progress requires you to log that it is being taken from this geocache. You will also need to log when you place it in another geocache. It's easy!

If you are willing to log your part of this Trackable's journey and place it in another geocache as soon as possible (after you log your find), grab it from this geocache.

My Current Goal:

The bald eagle is a bird of prey found in North America. Its range includes most of Canada and Alaska, all of the contiguous United States, and northern Mexico. It is found near large bodies of open water with an abundant food supply and old-growth trees for nesting.  The bald eagle is an opportunistic feeder which subsists mainly on fish, which it swoops down and snatches from the water with its talons. It builds the largest nest of any North American bird and the largest tree nests ever recorded for any animal species, up to 13 feet deep, 8.2 feet wide, and 1 metric ton (1.1 short tons) in weight.  Bald eagles are not actually bald; the name derives from an older meaning of "white headed".  The sexes are identical in plumage, but females are about 25 percent larger than males.  Please move this trackable along to any cache, anywhere, and log where it goes on geocaching.com   Thanks !!!
