My Current Goal:
Hello! I am on a mission for some of the students at Leadore School in Leadore, Idaho. They have sent me on a quest to journey "Around the World", much like Phileas Fogg and his servant Passepartout in Jules Verne's classic novel "Around the World in 80 Days". My middle school Geography students want to see how fast I can make the jouorney and still travel to all the stops on Phileas' path (or more). I will be beginning my journey from the Idaho mountains and hope to return to them as soon as possible after making several stops around the world. I hope to include stops in the following locations:
London, England
Suez (Cairo), Egypt
Mumbai (Bombay), India
Calcutta (Kolkata), India
Hong Kong, China
Shanghai, China
Yokohama, Japan
San Francisco, California, USA
Omaha, Nebraska, USA
New York, New York, USA
Then hopefully return home to Leadore, Idaho eventually. We know this is a lofty goal, my journey/tracking will be passed down to the next Geography class at the school. Regardless of how long I am on the 'road', rest assured I want to return to my home in the Idaho mountains.
We understand that I may not get to every city on my list but as long as I reach the country, my mission will have been a sucess for my students! I am very willing to travel to any other destinations that get me near my route. My students will be activly tracking me throughout my journey to see my stops (the more the better) and veiw my travel logs and meet some of my new friends. Please make sure to snap a selfie with me to add to my travel log and send me on my way as quickly as possible to help keep my students engaged in my travels all year long. Thank you for making me and my students endeavor sucessful and adventureful! Happy Caching!
