This is no ordinary geocaching trading item!

Beertjes op stap is a Travel Bug Dog Tag Travel Bug, traveling from geocache to geocache on a very specific mission.

Trackable ItemIf you do not intend to log your visit on the Geocaching.com web site, please DO NOT TAKE THIS ITEM. Its travels and its progress requires you to log that it is being taken from this geocache. You will also need to log when you place it in another geocache. It's easy!

If you are willing to log your part of this Trackable's journey and place it in another geocache as soon as possible (after you log your find), grab it from this geocache.

My Current Goal:

Deze travelbug is van Sinterklaas gekregen. Aangezien we in een cachefamilie zitten heeft deze als missie van Sinterklaas gekregen dat hij zo veel mogelijk kilometers af moet leggen en caches te bezoeken voor 5 december 2010. Meer dan die van de andere teams! Sinterklaas kijkt dan wie de winnaar is. Zodra de andere teams hun travelbug geactiveerd hebben zal ik hier een linkje plaatsen.

Update december 2010: De beertjes hebben gewonnen! We bedanken iedereen die geholpen heeft om onze beren te laten racen. De race gaat verder tot de volgende Sinterklaasavond.

Update december 2011: Opnieuw gewonnen. De beren zijn toppers! Bedankt allen en speciaal SAnjos...  We racen verder.

This tb was a gift from Sinterklaas (One traditional festivity in the Netherlands is the feast of Sinterklaas or St. Nicolaas. It is celebrated on the evening before Sinterklaas' birthday on December 5, especially in families with little children. In the United States the original figure of Dutch Sinterklaas has merged with Father Christmas into Santa Claus.  His mission is to visit as much caches as possible and make a lot of kilometres before the next Sinterklaas' birthday (5 december 2010). Update decembre 2010: The bears have won the race! Thanks to everyone who has helped. The race goes on till next Sinterklaas' birthday.

Update decembre 2011: We won again. The bears rule! Thanks all and especially SAnjos... The race will go on.
