This is no ordinary geocaching trading item!

Angry Birds Race: The Red Bird is a Travel Bug Dog Tag Travel Bug, traveling from geocache to geocache on a very specific mission.

If you do not intend to log your visit on the Geocaching.com web site, please DO NOT TAKE THIS ITEM. Its travels and its progress requires you to log that it is being taken from this geocache. You will also need to log when you place it in another geocache. It's easy!

If you are willing to log your part of this Trackable's journey and place it in another geocache as soon as possible (after you log your find), grab it from this geocache.

This is the red bird: Red!

Red’s special skills are his leadership qualities, which at first seems feeble compared to the explosive power of Bomb. But wait! Someone has to organize this odd flock of birds! He’s also a bit highly strung and sees small things as a declaration of war – like hearing the sound of the wind and thinking it’s the battle cry of the pig army. So that’s kind of intense!

The Birds are in a race to travel around the UK from their home here in Yorkshire. Their mission is to do that and return home having had lots of adventures along the way. The Red Bird is racing its friends to see who can travel the furthest before coming home. We hope it can eventually return home to somewhere in Yorkshire so we can pick it up and be reunited. If you find The Red Bird please move it on quickly to somewhere new and try to post a photo showing where it has been. If you cannot find anywhere suitable to drop it off then let The Red Bird come with you on your cache hunts until you can so it can accumulate some miles (don't forget to log its visits).
