This is no ordinary geocaching trading item!

Jerry, where are you? is a Travel Bug Dog Tag Travel Bug, traveling from geocache to geocache on a very specific mission.

If you do not intend to log your visit on the Geocaching.com web site, please DO NOT TAKE THIS ITEM. Its travels and its progress requires you to log that it is being taken from this geocache. You will also need to log when you place it in another geocache. It's easy!

If you are willing to log your part of this Trackable's journey and place it in another geocache as soon as possible (after you log your find), grab it from this geocache.

My Current Goal:

This is a search and rescue mision to find my long lost friend Jerry (hence the copy tag).

Jerry's mission was to travel around the UK visiting cheese factories and return to his hometown of Kerry, Newtown (SY16) by the end of Summer 2012. (Places he had hoped to visit along the way included Mousehole in Cornwall and the Cheddar Gorge). If there are no cheesey places to visit, he wanted to keep moving to see lots of hidey holes which reminded him of home.

Unfortunately, Jerry went missing in June 2012 whilst exploring Norwich. Despite many requests for reports of sitings of Jerry by the police on Crimewatch, there have been no firm leads.

There is only one thing left that a good friend can do - hit the open road and search for my friend Jerry !

Please move me around quickly and often to help me find Jerry, and if you see anyone on your travels that looks like Jerry, or find any evidence of his whereabouts, please post a photo here so that we can pass any leads on to the police or search and rescue teams.
