This is no ordinary geocaching trading item!

Basil the Bilby is a Travel Bug Dog Tag Travel Bug, traveling from geocache to geocache on a very specific mission.

If you do not intend to log your visit on the Geocaching.com web site, please DO NOT TAKE THIS ITEM. Its travels and its progress requires you to log that it is being taken from this geocache. You will also need to log when you place it in another geocache. It's easy!

If you are willing to log your part of this Trackable's journey and place it in another geocache as soon as possible (after you log your find), grab it from this geocache.

My Current Goal:

Basil used to look cute and cuddly consequently he was stolen from a ache and has not been seen since.

So He is now reincarnated as this grubby metal washer, hopefully in his new form he will live a longer and less collectable life.

 

To hop from cache to cache, making Geocachers and other trackables that
he comes across aware of the endangered status of Australia’s unique and diminishing Bilby population
(and to get on the front of The Rolling Stone Magazine) and to avoid feral cats, dogs, foxes.

Failing that, just happy snaps of my travels during my pilgrimage into the wild world.
