This is no ordinary geocaching trading item!

(Marpeg) Bugsy the Travel Bug is a Travel Bug Dog Tag Travel Bug, traveling from geocache to geocache on a very specific mission.

If you do not intend to log your visit on the Geocaching.com web site, please DO NOT TAKE THIS ITEM. Its travels and its progress requires you to log that it is being taken from this geocache. You will also need to log when you place it in another geocache. It's easy!

If you are willing to log your part of this Trackable's journey and place it in another geocache as soon as possible (after you log your find), grab it from this geocache.

My Current Goal:

The Richmond Rally IV great travel bug race. Starting June 9 and ending when the New Year's Eve ball drops in New York City on midnight December 31, 2007. The winner is the TB that travels the farthest by that time. Let the race begin. Bugsy the TB would like to see how other bugs live in other parts of the world. Let me hitch a ride in your suitcase. Update: Bugsy won the race with over 25,000 miles. Yea!!!He still wants to see the world and will eventually come home. His current mileage is over 30,000. Let's just see how far he can travel.

As of November 22, 2011 Bugsy is still in action.  The only one of the many travel bugs that I have sent out.  He now has over 43,000 miles on him.  Keep him away from the US as travel bugs seem to disappear here.  At some point he may want to come home, but I love it that he has been traveling for about 4 years.
