My Current Goal:

I am the “Colorado Rocky Mountains” Traveler. I left Colorado on January 19, 2005 and traveled by air via Minneapolis, Amsterdam and Dar es Salam to the Kilimanjaro International Airport. From there I started the climb to the summit of the mountain that has come to be known as the Roof of Africa. Standing at 5,895 meters, the summit of Kibo (the tallest of the two peaks that form Mount Kilimanjaro) is the destination of my traveling companion. As befits my mountain heritage, my first stop will be a cache on the trail up the mountain. I logged in and out of that spot and now have returned to Colorado, where I will take leave of my companion out on the Plains, in the hope that I will be picked up and taken on many mountainous and flat adventures. I’m hoping to log more than 100,000 miles. I'd like to pass through other continents other than North America and Africa. Eventually, I'd like to return home to my native Colorado and visit the high altitude sights there!
