Christopher Kolumbus Geocoin is a Christopher Kolumbus Geocoin Travel Bug, traveling from geocache to geocache on a very specific mission.

If you do not intend to log your visit on the Geocaching.com web site, please DO NOT TAKE THIS ITEM. Its travels and its progress requires you to log that it is being taken from this geocache. You will also need to log when you place it in another geocache. It's easy!

My Current Goal:

This coin  came from  Germany,  so  the name is  written  as Christoph Kolumbus, but in England he is better known  as Christopher Columbus. Who  remembers all  those history  lessons at school?

The mission for this stunning coin is to  travel  the globe and visit many locations,  reminding  people how without this fine felllow who  bravely  travelled where would we be.

History lesson.... born 1451 died 1506. An Italian navigator and colonist who  completed 4 voyages across the Atlantic Ocean persuing a route to  the Far East. This is when he discovered a viable sailing  route to  the Americas. Then unknown to  the old world. Dated 1492 October the 12th.
