This is no ordinary geocaching trading item!

BT on a Mission Travel Bug Dog Tag is a Travel Bug Dog Tag Travel Bug, traveling from geocache to geocache on a very specific mission.

If you do not intend to log your visit on the Geocaching.com web site, please DO NOT TAKE THIS ITEM. Its travels and its progress requires you to log that it is being taken from this geocache. You will also need to log when you place it in another geocache. It's easy!

If you are willing to log your part of this Trackable's journey and place it in another geocache as soon as possible (after you log your find), grab it from this geocache.

My Current Goal:

This travel bug was originally released to see if it could achieve a very specific mission of reaching a location in New Zealand which was visited by its owners in December 2009! The note attached to the tag describes this mission. However, it did not get there in the originally specified time. We would still like to see if the TB can make it to a cache near Red Beach or Whangaparoa north of Auckland at some time. Once it gets there we will arrange for it to be collected. Any route to its goal is acceptable. Our kids would be interested to see any pictures of locations on the way.
