This is no ordinary geocaching trading item!

Hopping mads is a Travel Bug Dog Tag Travel Bug, traveling from geocache to geocache on a very specific mission.

If you do not intend to log your visit on the Geocaching.com web site, please DO NOT TAKE THIS ITEM. Its travels and its progress requires you to log that it is being taken from this geocache. You will also need to log when you place it in another geocache. It's easy!

If you are willing to log your part of this Trackable's journey and place it in another geocache as soon as possible (after you log your find), grab it from this geocache.

My mission is to travel as far and wide as possible. Any help to achieve my goal is greatly appreciated, and I'd love to see any pictures of my adventures along the way!

I started my travels as a contestant in the great Easter Travel Bug Race 2007, competing with Superpup, Hopping Mads and Geroam K Giraffe TBs to see who could travel the furthest between Easters 2007 and 2008. You can see us all setting off on our journey in the gallery. The result of the race was as follows:
