This is no ordinary geocaching trading item!

Bertha the Bison is a Travel Bug Dog Tag Travel Bug, traveling from geocache to geocache on a very specific mission.

If you do not intend to log your visit on the Geocaching.com web site, please DO NOT TAKE THIS ITEM. Its travels and its progress requires you to log that it is being taken from this geocache. You will also need to log when you place it in another geocache. It's easy!

If you are willing to log your part of this Trackable's journey and place it in another geocache as soon as possible (after you log your find), grab it from this geocache.

My Current Goal:

This little bison roamed North America in great numbers.  We are bringing the bison back to this great land through preserves and private ranches.  What better place to start the bison on her new journey but close to Custer State Park in South Dakota.  Custer State Park was instrumental in reintroducing the bison and stopping its decline.  Help get Bertha back on the roam.  Take her anywhere you go, but don't keep her.  I know she is cute, but please log her in and drop her off soon.  She likes to roam!  Also, please keep her in the baggie so she will stay clean and dry.
