This is no ordinary geocaching trading item!
Christmas 2021 Geocoin is a Signal Holiday Geocoin 2021 Travel Bug, traveling from geocache to geocache on a very specific mission.
If you do not intend to log your visit on the Geocaching.com web site, please DO NOT TAKE THIS ITEM. Its travels and its progress requires you to log that it is being taken from this geocache. You will also need to log when you place it in another geocache. It's easy!
If you are willing to log your part of this Trackable's journey and place it in another geocache as soon as possible (after you log your find), grab it from this geocache.
My Current Goal:
The current mission is to travel south.
Rules: whenever you check this GC out of a TB hotel, put it in another one at a lower latitude until it crosses the equator, and then proceed to higher latitudes in the southern hemisphere. Please post photos of the places it visits.
You can visit any cashes with this GC while you hold it, but please drop it ONLY at a location further south than where you picked it up (even if it's just a few meters further south, doesn't matter, the longitude can be arbitrary).
This original 2021 geocoin was released on Christmas 2021 and is supposed to travel as far south as possible. It is not a collectible. Don't forget to register the trackable whenever you take it out of a geocache or put it in, that's the rule. Let's see where this ride ends and on which continent. Cape Horn? Cape of Good Hope? Tasmania? Antarctica? All this sounds like good opportunities. With some luck, it might even visit the southernmost geocache in the world.
