This is no ordinary geocaching trading item!

Mayan Marriage 11-11-11 is a Travel Bug Dog Tag Travel Bug, traveling from geocache to geocache on a very specific mission.

If you do not intend to log your visit on the Geocaching.com web site, please DO NOT TAKE THIS ITEM. Its travels and its progress requires you to log that it is being taken from this geocache. You will also need to log when you place it in another geocache. It's easy!

If you are willing to log your part of this Trackable's journey and place it in another geocache as soon as possible (after you log your find), grab it from this geocache.

My Current Goal:

We (Brabofries=dutch team) met each other on a course in the beautiful cathedral of Chartres (France). Chartres lays on the way of the pelgrimage to Santiago de Compostella. A lot of people go to the cathedral because there's the most beautiful Labyrinth of the world in it. You can walk there 'the circle of life' (like in the book of Joseph Campbell; the hero with the thousend faces). You can see the labyrint as a spiritual place...like we do.
On 11-11-11 we got married in Baarle-Nassau (Holland) and went for a honeymoon to Mexico. Our wish was to place this travelbug near El Castillo in Chitchen Itza but there's no container.
We stayed in Playa del Carmen en found by bike a little group of Mayan buildings. On the cacheplace sits most of the time a iguana as guardian ( for the Mayan is this animal the guardian of land). The Mayan people are studied by many and there're still a lot of mysteries.
We like to visit spiritual places so we wish our travelbug will go on a spiritual path. Please send us pictures, stories etc.......
