This is no ordinary geocaching trading item!

Bluebonnet Bunny is a Cachekinz Travel Bug, traveling from geocache to geocache on a very specific mission.

My Current Goal:

Thanks for finding me -- I am named after my 14 year old owner Erikka, who lives in Colorado. Her Dad has nicknamed her “Bunny” and she was born in Corpus Christi, Texas.    Bluebonnet is a name given to any number of purple-flowered species of the genus Lupinus predominantly found in southwestern United States and is collectively the state flower of Texas. The shape of the petals on the flower resembles the bonnet worn by pioneer women to shield them from the sun.  As an extension of Lady Bird Johnson's efforts at highway beautification in the United States, she encouraged the planting of native plants along Texas highways after she left the White House. Bluebonnet blooms are now a common sight along these highways in the springtime.  Please move this trackable along soon, to any geocache, anywhere, and log where it goes on geocaching.com   Thanks !!!
