This is no ordinary geocaching trading item!

Bertie Bug is a Travel Bug Dog Tag Travel Bug, traveling from geocache to geocache on a very specific mission.

If you do not intend to log your visit on the Geocaching.com web site, please DO NOT TAKE THIS ITEM. Its travels and its progress requires you to log that it is being taken from this geocache. You will also need to log when you place it in another geocache. It's easy!

If you are willing to log your part of this Trackable's journey and place it in another geocache as soon as possible (after you log your find), grab it from this geocache.

My Current Goal:

I am Bertie and my goal is to travel at least 1000 miles BEFORE for 6th August 2006 and to be reunited with my sweetheart, Betsie. We both need to be at Beautiful Boxley in Kent (England) by that date. This is where we will be married and be together. We are starting off our travels at Gatwick and will be going our SEPARATE ways, until we meet up again in Boxley. Please help us. N 51° 18.110 E 000° 32.813. An update (9th Oct 2007)Alas Bertie's heart has been broken. Betsie Bug has disappeared. Perhaps she has run off with a telly tubby or a Star Wars character, no-one really knows. What Bertie would like to do is to travel the World as a young free and single bear, stopping off wherever he can to say hello to wonderful Geocachers. Please move him on to anywhere so he can experience life whilst he is still a cub and not a old grizzly.
