This is no ordinary geocaching trading item!

Captain Black Beard is a Travel Bug Dog Tag Travel Bug, traveling from geocache to geocache on a very specific mission.

If you do not intend to log your visit on the Geocaching.com web site, please DO NOT TAKE THIS ITEM. Its travels and its progress requires you to log that it is being taken from this geocache. You will also need to log when you place it in another geocache. It's easy!

If you are willing to log your part of this Trackable's journey and place it in another geocache as soon as possible (after you log your find), grab it from this geocache.

My Current Goal:

Aye Mateys! I want to travel from cache to cache collecting treasure as I go for Baby Bear. He is a 10 yr. old boy and he owns me. He turned me loose in Iowa City and I want to collect as many "bling blings" I can before his 11th birthday in September 2005. Please help me! Add something to my chain. My home is in NW Indiana and the exact area will be forth coming. Check the web site for more info. Thanks!

Update: My owner's birthday has come and gone and now he's 11, but my goal is still to return to Indiana to visit him as soon as I can. Please help keep me moving west so I can visit him and then he will re-release me. Ideally any cache in NW Indiana will do or one made by my Owner 9er Bears. Thanks to all who help me!
