This is no ordinary geocaching trading item!

Bart is a Travel Bug Dog Tag Travel Bug, traveling from geocache to geocache on a very specific mission.

If you do not intend to log your visit on the Geocaching.com web site, please DO NOT TAKE THIS ITEM. Its travels and its progress requires you to log that it is being taken from this geocache. You will also need to log when you place it in another geocache. It's easy!

If you are willing to log your part of this Trackable's journey and place it in another geocache as soon as possible (after you log your find), grab it from this geocache.

Bart - die Mission

• Ziel 1: Besteige den höchsten Berg. Ziel ist es in einem Cache deponiert zu werden, der an einem möglichst hohen Ort gelegen ist. Er soll zumindest höher sein als der höchste Cache an dem sein Gegner (Krusty) war.
• Ziel 2: Lege die weiteste Strecke zurück. Ziel ist es während der Suche nach dem höchstgelegenen Cache die größte Distanz zu überwinden.
• Wertung: Ziel 1 ist wichtiger als Ziel 2.
• Dauer:  Das Rennen endet genau 2 Jahre nachdem sich die beiden Travelbugs auf den Weg gemacht haben, also am 27.07.2016.
• Logging: Bitte denk daran die Höhe des Ortes an dem du Bart gefunden oder versteckt hast zu loggen!

 

Bart - the mission

• Destination 1: Climb the highest mountain. The goal is to be deposited in a cache which is located at a very high place. This place should be at least a bit higher than the highest cache where his challenger (Krusty) was.
• Destination 2: Cover the longest distance. The goal is to be overcome the longest distance during his search for the highest cache.
• Rating: Goal 1 is more important than goal 2.
• Duration: The race ends exactly two years after the two travel bugs have made there way, i.e. on 2016-07-27.
• Logging: Please keep in mind to write down the height of the place where you found Bart.
