This is no ordinary geocaching trading item!

[PROXY/COPY] Compass Rose Geocoin 2010 is a Compass Rose Geocoin 2010 Travel Bug, traveling from geocache to geocache on a very specific mission.

If you do not intend to log your visit on the Geocaching.com web site, please DO NOT TAKE THIS ITEM. Its travels and its progress requires you to log that it is being taken from this geocache. You will also need to log when you place it in another geocache. It's easy!

If you are willing to log your part of this Trackable's journey and place it in another geocache as soon as possible (after you log your find), grab it from this geocache.

This geocoin is currently being circulated as a proxy/copy. That is, it is not the actual, original coin. The original coin is in my possession. Why would anyone send out a proxy/copy instead of the original? Because geocoins are often expensive for my family’s budget, I don’t want to take the risk that the actual coin is stolen or goes missing (as is so often the case with geocoins). If you disagree with such a practice, I simply ask that you leave the proxy/copy be. However, if you still want to receive the credit for finding it (i.e., the icon), you may log its tracking number before moving it along. Thanks and happy caching!
