American Dog is a Travel Bug Dog Tag Travel Bug, traveling from geocache to geocache on a very specific mission.

If you do not intend to log your visit on the Geocaching.com web site, please DO NOT TAKE THIS ITEM. Its travels and its progress requires you to log that it is being taken from this geocache. You will also need to log when you place it in another geocache. It's easy!

My Current Goal:

To travel to places and events that represent the American Spirit (of humans and dogs), including: The Statue of Liberty; The Liberty Bell; The Capitol at Colonial Williamsburg; The US Capitol Building; Mount Rushmore; A 4th of July Parade; Sgt. Stubby at The Hartford (CT) Armory; Owney at the National Postal Museum; The War Memorial at Rocky River Reservation in Fairview Park, OH (under construction, to be completed near the end of 2005); and to return home to a cache in Myrtle Beach, SC by the Summer of 2007. ** Goal Update ** This little dog is overdue, and his family misses him! He and his adventures are meant to be a Christmas present for a westie-lovin' branch of the family, so could y'all please hurry him along his way back home in time to meet Santa in Myrtle Beach? ** Goal Update ** It looks like my American Dog is MIA.
