This is no ordinary geocaching trading item!

Mars geocoin is a Caching On The Mars Geocoin Travel Bug, traveling from geocache to geocache on a very specific mission.

If you do not intend to log your visit on the Geocaching.com web site, please DO NOT TAKE THIS ITEM. Its travels and its progress requires you to log that it is being taken from this geocache. You will also need to log when you place it in another geocache. It's easy!

If you are willing to log your part of this Trackable's journey and place it in another geocache as soon as possible (after you log your find), grab it from this geocache.

My Current Goal:

This item will travel with me around the world and take mean Mars and then solar system distance parameters.
First goal is to take a distance of 3389,5 km (volumetric mean radius; 2106 miles). OK (April 2012)
Second goal is to take a distance of 55,7 mil km (minimum distance from Earth; 34 610 375 miles).
Third goal is to take a distance of 401,3 mil km (maximum distance from Earth; 249 356 259 miles).
