This is no ordinary geocaching trading item!
Brandon the rhino is a South Africa Flag Tag Travel Bug, traveling from geocache to geocache on a very specific mission.
If you do not intend to log your visit on the Geocaching.com web site, please DO NOT TAKE THIS ITEM. Its travels and its progress requires you to log that it is being taken from this geocache. You will also need to log when you place it in another geocache. It's easy!
If you are willing to log your part of this Trackable's journey and place it in another geocache as soon as possible (after you log your find), grab it from this geocache.
My Current Goal:
This trackable is in the 2013 TB race so please keep it moving.
This TB is in the points race. So points awarded for every cache visited, every time it is discovered, every photo posted and if it attends events.
Thank you so much for helping our rhino during this race
Photo's of our rhino's adventures would be greatly appreciated :)
Fun Rhinoceros Facts
- One lump or two? Javan and Indian rhinos only have one horn. White, black and Sumatran rhinoceros have two.
- Rhinos aren’t really bad tempered—they often charge because they are startled.
- Sumatran rhinoceros are hairy—at least compared to the other species of rhinos. Next to the Javan rhino, they are the most endangered.
- A group of rhinos is called a “crash.”
- Rhinoceros roll in mud so they don’t get sunburned.
- A rhino dung pile can be 3 feet high!
