This is no ordinary geocaching trading item!

Ferris Flamingo is a Travel Bug Dog Tag Travel Bug, traveling from geocache to geocache on a very specific mission.

If you do not intend to log your visit on the Geocaching.com web site, please DO NOT TAKE THIS ITEM. Its travels and its progress requires you to log that it is being taken from this geocache. You will also need to log when you place it in another geocache. It's easy!

If you are willing to log your part of this Trackable's journey and place it in another geocache as soon as possible (after you log your find), grab it from this geocache.

My Current Goal:

New Goal 6/3/2010: Our trip to see our daughter has now come and gone. Unfortunately, none of the Flamingos made it to the Portland, ME area in time for us to "discover" them. (See below). My new mission, once in the Portland area is to be hung on the screen door knob at 40 Scamman St., South Portland. Thanks so much for helping us play this little prank. My mission is to get to the Portland, Maine area. I’m one of a flock of 13 Flamingos flying to see our “Aunt”. I’d love to be seen in the company of other Flamingos. Photos are always welcome.
