This is no ordinary geocaching trading item!

Sputnik 1 back to Baikonur is a Sputnik Geocoin Travel Bug, traveling from geocache to geocache on a very specific mission.

Trackable ItemIf you do not intend to log your visit on the Geocaching.com web site, please DO NOT TAKE THIS ITEM. Its travels and its progress requires you to log that it is being taken from this geocache. You will also need to log when you place it in another geocache. It's easy!

If you are willing to log your part of this Trackable's journey and place it in another geocache as soon as possible (after you log your find), grab it from this geocache.

My Current Goal:

This coin should visit the cities which have connection to the activities of European Space Agency (ESA). These cities are: Paris in France, Noordwijk in The Netherlands, Darmstad and Cologne in Germany, Frascati in Italy, Villanueva de la Canada in Spain, Moscow in Russia. The Final goal is Kazakhstan and eventually the cache Poyekhali GCMGW9 in the Baikonur Cosmodrome in Kazakhstan. The Sputnik 1 was launched from there at 4th of October 1957.
