This is no ordinary geocaching trading item!

Dougie goes to Germany is a Discover Me Tag Travel Bug, traveling from geocache to geocache on a very specific mission.

If you do not intend to log your visit on the Geocaching.com web site, please DO NOT TAKE THIS ITEM. Its travels and its progress requires you to log that it is being taken from this geocache. You will also need to log when you place it in another geocache. It's easy!

If you are willing to log your part of this Trackable's journey and place it in another geocache as soon as possible (after you log your find), grab it from this geocache.

My Current Goal:

This travel bug ( called Dougie in honour of one of our cats ) has a somewhat complicated mission as its aim is to visit places that are important to myself and my husband :

1. The first goal is to reach Kent - this is where my husband is from and also the county 'emblem' is a white horse rampant, just like the emblem on this Niedersachsen (Lower Saxony) travel bug.

2. The second goal is to reach the Wingst area in Niedersachsen, as this used to be a lovely outing for me when I was a young child.

3. The third goal is to return to Leicestershire.
