This is no ordinary geocaching trading item!

America's Favorite Pastime Keychain is a Travel Bug Dog Tag Travel Bug, traveling from geocache to geocache on a very specific mission.

Trackable ItemIf you do not intend to log your visit on the Geocaching.com web site, please DO NOT TAKE THIS ITEM. Its travels and its progress requires you to log that it is being taken from this geocache. You will also need to log when you place it in another geocache. It's easy!

If you are willing to log your part of this Trackable's journey and place it in another geocache as soon as possible (after you log your find), grab it from this geocache.

My Current Goal:

This Travelbug Keychain is in honor of my late father.  He was a HUGE, lifelong, Dodger Fan.  Besides his children, and  grandchildren, baseball was the great love of his life.  He played, coached, umpired, kept score, ran the little league snack bar, maintained our local fields, you name it, he did it (with mom's help of course ;P). One of his dreams was to visit every MAJOR LEAGUE ball park in America and Canada.  He crossed a lot of them off on his list, but was not able to complete his mission before he lost his battle.  I don't have the time or resources to finish his dream for him, so I figure, hey, lets see if a Travel bug can accomplish this feat!!  I have engraved the tracking code on a metal DODGERS Keychain (that was his favorite team), but he was a good sport about anything baseball so please FEEL FREE to ADD any baseball related keychains on to it as it travels, even if it is from another team, or even a minor league team!   If you do, snap a picture and share it, I would LOVE to see it's progress as it travels around! Also, my Dad was a huge REDSKINS (yes, i know that's a football team) fan, if this bug ends up near their stadium, I would love for it to visit them as well! One day, if it accomplishes it's goal, it can return to me, and I can retire it with honors!
