This is no ordinary geocaching trading item!

Crane on the Wing is a Travel Bug Dog Tag Travel Bug, traveling from geocache to geocache on a very specific mission.

If you do not intend to log your visit on the Geocaching.com web site, please DO NOT TAKE THIS ITEM. Its travels and its progress requires you to log that it is being taken from this geocache. You will also need to log when you place it in another geocache. It's easy!

If you are willing to log your part of this Trackable's journey and place it in another geocache as soon as possible (after you log your find), grab it from this geocache.

My Current Goal:

This ambitious traditional origami crane's destination is the Children's Peace Monument at the Hiroshima Memorial Peace Park in Hiroshima, Japan. There it will take its place with countless thousands of others folded by people of all ages from around the world. This crane was folded in Somerville, Massachusetts, USA and has a long way to go to reach its goal. Like the world peace it represents, I expect it will sometimes take small steps as it moves toward its goal, but I know that with the help of dedicated geocachers it will reach Hiroshima sooner or later.
