This is no ordinary geocaching trading item!

Midnight Sun is a Travel Bug Dog Tag Travel Bug, traveling from geocache to geocache on a very specific mission.

If you do not intend to log your visit on the Geocaching.com web site, please DO NOT TAKE THIS ITEM. Its travels and its progress requires you to log that it is being taken from this geocache. You will also need to log when you place it in another geocache. It's easy!

If you are willing to log your part of this Trackable's journey and place it in another geocache as soon as possible (after you log your find), grab it from this geocache.

My Current Goal:

UPDATE 5-5-08: This TB's counterpart went missing in its original form. I've reissued it minus the encoded instructions, but its goal is still to meet up with its partner near the Valley of Ten Thousand Smokes.

Midnight Sun (the larger glow-in-the-dark star) is on his way to see Alaska! Son of Midnight Sun (the smaller star) will follow shortly, hoping to meet up with his parent when he gets there. You can help! Just keep Midnight Sun moving toward his goal. Once he gets to the state, he'd like to travel around and hopefully go to see the Valley of Ten Thousand Smokes.

Son of Midnight Sun will soon follow his dad, and hopefully catch up to him somewhere in that vicinity. When and if they do reunite, they have a special mission encoded on their "travelling papers." You must have both halves to decipher it!
