This is no ordinary geocaching trading item!

Poldi is a Travel Bug Dog Tag Travel Bug, traveling from geocache to geocache on a very specific mission.

If you do not intend to log your visit on the Geocaching.com web site, please DO NOT TAKE THIS ITEM. Its travels and its progress requires you to log that it is being taken from this geocache. You will also need to log when you place it in another geocache. It's easy!

If you are willing to log your part of this Trackable's journey and place it in another geocache as soon as possible (after you log your find), grab it from this geocache.

My Current Goal:

This is Poldi the Dragon. He originates from a hidden tribe of ancient dragons living on the vulcan Teide on Teneriffa. So he is comfortable in living at warm places. Nevertheless, being a curious little dragon, sitting on rocks and always looking down onto the same island does not satisfy him anymore and he would like to travel the world. As you already know for sure, many dragons nowadays have evolved into much smaller beings than in ancient times (for camouflage reasons). So has Poldi, which makes travelling on his own harder. Please help him to learn about the world and see interesting places, especially warm ones, and to send his fellows at home some photos ! His definite dream is, of course, to see another vulcan than his one someday.

Dies ist Poldi der Drache. Er stammt von einer uralten Sippe von versteckt lebenden Drachen ab, die auf dem Vulkan Teide auf Teneriffa ihr Zuhause haben. Daher mag er besonders gerne warme Orte. Trotzdem ist er sehr neugierig und immer nur auf Felsen zu hocken und auf die Insel zu schauen reicht dem kleinen, neugierigen Drachen nicht - er würde gerne die Welt bereisen. Wie Du bestimmt schon weißt, haben sich die meisten Drachen heutzutage weiterentwickelt und sind, aus Gründen der Tarnung, sehr viel kleiner als zu alter Zeit. Das ist bei Poldi auch so, darum ist das Reisen alleine für ihn schwierig. Bitte hilf ihm, mehr über die Welt zu lernen und interessante Orte zu sehen, am liebsten natürlich warme, und seinen Freunden zuhause ein paar Fotos zu schicken ! Sein absoluter Traum ist es, natürlich, einmal einen anderen Vulkan als seinen zu sehen.
