This is no ordinary geocaching trading item!

Coffs Harbour is a Travel Bug Dog Tag Travel Bug, traveling from geocache to geocache on a very specific mission.

If you do not intend to log your visit on the Geocaching.com web site, please DO NOT TAKE THIS ITEM. Its travels and its progress requires you to log that it is being taken from this geocache. You will also need to log when you place it in another geocache. It's easy!

If you are willing to log your part of this Trackable's journey and place it in another geocache as soon as possible (after you log your find), grab it from this geocache.

My Current Goal:

The mission of Coffs Harbour is to get to Coffs Harbour in Australia.

In the meantime I'm happy for it to travel as many miles as possible having a photo taken of wherever it is found or the place it is logged - preferably with it in the photo. I've made a companion charm for it from a spoon I got on ebay.

In July 2022 the Australian TV series "Neighbours" finished after 37 years. I used to watch it in the begining and after watching the final week of episodes with flashbacks in them, I worked out I must have watched it for about 8 years. At one point it had the highest TV viewing figures in the UK. When I used to watch it, every now and again a place called Coffs Harbour would be mentioned and I often thought about what it would be like there. All I did at the time was look at an atlas book and saw where it was but back in the day finding out any more informaton would have been difficult and limited. In the finale when Scott and Charlene turn up there is a badge hanging from the rear view mirror of their car with Coffs Harbour on it! I might get to Coffs Harbour myself one day but for now the travel bug will have to do.
