This is no ordinary geocaching trading item!
Dupy is a Norwegian Vikings Geocoin - The Brooch Travel Bug, traveling from geocache to geocache on a very specific mission.
If you do not intend to log your visit on the Geocaching.com web site, please DO NOT TAKE THIS ITEM. Its travels and its progress requires you to log that it is being taken from this geocache. You will also need to log when you place it in another geocache. It's easy!
If you are willing to log your part of this Trackable's journey and place it in another geocache as soon as possible (after you log your find), grab it from this geocache.
My Current Goal:
Dupy, the blue fox, bears with him the TB-code of this viking geocoin which has the vegvísir symbol on the back. A vegvísir, Icelandic for wayfinder, is a magical stave intended to help the bearer find their way in storms or bad weather, even when the way is not known.
Dupy's goal is to return home to GC910YP, the den of the blue foxes along Akerselva in Oslo, Norway, every time he is dropped off somewhere in the world. (And although the meaning of the name Dupy is "the house with the pine tree", the den is under the remains of a big birch.)
Please help him to get home as soon as possible. And if he is home, please leave him there so his owner can pick him up, before dropping him off somewhere else for another journey home.
