Beam Me Up Scotty is a Salute Your Troops - Marines Travel Tag Travel Bug, traveling from geocache to geocache on a very specific mission.

If you do not intend to log your visit on the Geocaching.com web site, please DO NOT TAKE THIS ITEM. Its travels and its progress requires you to log that it is being taken from this geocache. You will also need to log when you place it in another geocache. It's easy!

Yes, as Trekkers, we know that this exact phrase was never uttered by Captian Kirk, but it is so iconic that we had to turn this into a travel bug. This little traveler wants to visit elevators because in this century, that is as close to "beaming up" as we have come to. Please try to take at least a photo of this bug with at least one elevator while you have it with you on your adventures. THANKS!
