The Mission of Melanoma Monkey II is to travel the world bringing awareness to the importance of wearing sunscreen to prevent Melanoma, the deadliest form of skin cancer. I would hope to travel all around the world, but I would rather not spend too much time in one location. $1.00 for every cache I visit $.01 for every mile I travel will be donated to MRF to support Melanoma Research. In 2006, our family was struck by this deadly cancer, Melanoma. Fortunately, we have survived this attack, but it has forever changed all of our lives. Through our journey, we have met many great people, also victims of this cancer. Some have not been so fortunate as us. Children need their parents, and parents should never have to lose their children. It would be our hope to educate others to protect themselves from the harmful rays of the sun, to prevent this very preventable deadly cancer.
