This is no ordinary geocaching trading item!

TOTAL SOLAR ECLIPSE GEOCOIN #3 is a Total Solar Eclipse Travel Bug, traveling from geocache to geocache on a very specific mission.

If you do not intend to log your visit on the Geocaching.com web site, please DO NOT TAKE THIS ITEM. Its travels and its progress requires you to log that it is being taken from this geocache. You will also need to log when you place it in another geocache. It's easy!

If you are willing to log your part of this Trackable's journey and place it in another geocache as soon as possible (after you log your find), grab it from this geocache.

My Current Goal:

AUGUST 21, 2017 MARKS A TOTAL ECLIPSE THAT WILL CROSS THE UNITED STATES.  I LIVE IN OREGON, RIGHT IN THE CENTER OF THE "ZONE OF TOTALITY" SO FOUND NO BETTER COIN TO RELEASE TO CELEBRATE THAT RARE EVENT THAT TOTAL SOLAR ECLIPSE GEOCOIN.

TOTAL SOLAR ECLIPSE GEOCOIN WOULD LIKE TO FIND CACHES IN THE "ZONE OF TOTALITY" UP TO THE POINT OF THE ECLIPSE AND THEN TRAVEL FAR AND WIDE FOR OTHERS TO ENJOY.

PLEASE REMEMBER THAT THIS GEOCOIN WAS RELEASED FOR MANY TO ENJOY.  IT WAS NOT RELEASED TO BE STUCK IN A DRAWER OR TO BE PART OF OUR PERSONAL COLLECTION.  IT WOULD LIKE TO BRING SMILE TO MANY AND TRAVEL MANY MILES.
