This is no ordinary geocaching trading item!

Matthew Bear is a Travel Bug Dog Tag Travel Bug, traveling from geocache to geocache on a very specific mission.

If you do not intend to log your visit on the Geocaching.com web site, please DO NOT TAKE THIS ITEM. Its travels and its progress requires you to log that it is being taken from this geocache. You will also need to log when you place it in another geocache. It's easy!

My Current Goal:

Matthew Bear represents one of the three children of Paulandpaula. The three bears are in competition to see which of them manage to log the most distant cache, the greatest distance travelled in total and the greatest number of moves. They all share an affinity with the sea and water. He shares this mission with Terry Bear and Karen Bear. They will be marked yearly on this anniversary to see who scores highest in each category.
